National Surgical Care Partners With South Austin Surgery Center in Austin, Texas
National Surgical Care today announced that it has acquired a majority interest in South Austin Surgery Center in Austin, Texas. South Austin is a multi-specialty surgery center with primary emphasis in general surgery, orthopedics, and pain management. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Commenting on the announcement, Sami S. Abbasi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NSC, said, "We are very pleased to announce our investment in the South Austin Surgery Center. The center is first-rate, and our new physician partners are exceptional. We welcome our new team members to the growing network of NSC centers, and look forward to a very successful affiliation and continued growth in the south Austin market."
